A Levels: German, Geography, Psychology, Extended Project Qualification (2011-2018)
I have just graduated from Sheffield Hallam university with a degree in Criminology and Psychology. My passion for this subject started at Friesland Sixth Form, where I studied Psychology, German and Geography A-Levels. Also, I loved the opportunity at Friesland to do my EPQ where I researched mental health services in prisons. It prepared me really well for academic writing and allowed me to explore my passion further. The inspiring teachers and exciting topics at Friesland helped shape the decisions I have made about my future, such as my career path and degree choice. Criminology and Psychology are fascinating topics where I have got to delve deep into the minds of criminals and learn how I can make a difference to reduce crime in the future. During my time at university, I worked with organisations such as South Yorkshire Police and charities on projects to improve social justice. The skills I gained at Friesland have given me the confidence to grab every opportunity I can and to achieve high. My aim is to become a private investigator and I have dreams to pursue this in America. I have been in contact with a private investigator in America and I’m now beginning my journey into this career path. Soon, I will start my new job in Norwich for a large international company, Verisk and I can’t wait to start my next adventure in Norwich. Thanks to the opportunities and support I received at Friesland, I have had a great foundation to build on that has guided me through my further education and career choices.
