American Exchange
The American Exchange has now been running at Friesland for many years and we have a very strong relationship with our partner school, Radnor High in Philadelphia. In Year 12, participating students will welcome to their home an exchange student from Radnor High. During the week our American partners are here we will involve them in school life, as well as taking them on trips to experience British life. During October half term of Year 13 Friesland students will make the return trip to Philadelphia.
Whilst staying with their host family, students will experience High School life, attend a PEP rally and local derby American Football game. There will also be day trips to Philadelphia and time spent with the host family. Before returning to England, students will spend a couple of days in New York, experiencing the sights and sounds of the Big Apple. This is an amazing experience for all involved and a unique opportunity for Friesland students.
