We take the A level Geography groups to Southwold in Suffolk. The three night stay in The Old Station house nearby offers comfortable accommodation and home cooked food. The students are able to eat, work and socialise together watching football and playing games and even karaoke! We are usually very blessed with the weather and are able to conduct all kinds of studies and surveys in and around Southwold with the help of the local fieldwork academy. The beautiful beach is targeted to explore longshore drift and the impact of tourism on the pretty town is investigated. The students use the data collected to undertake their NEA (coursework) which contributes to their A level. The students generally have a great time and love the town of Southwold and its friendly residents.
