Across the form groups in 6th Form, students have been gathering food for the Sandiacre Food Bank harvest collection. A vast array of tins, pasta, biscuits and other long-life items have been amassing in the common room ready to be donated.
Our able volunteers represented the 6th Form and school and kindly handed over the goods on Friday 22nd. This will be followed up in the coming weeks with a presentation to 6th Form from Tony Ford, who is responsible for running activities in the community. We are excited about the volunteering opportunities Tony will discuss with us and hope to see our 6th formers getting more involved in the local community.
