Friesland Sixth Form students are celebrating their achievements today, reflecting their consistent effort and dedication. Many have juggled academic work with extra commitments, demonstrating resilience and ambition throughout their studies.

While students across the Sixth Form, which is part of The Two Counties Trust, have excelled. Some successes from across the year include:

  • Erin Merry, who joined Friesland 6th Form in 2023, achieved A*, A*, A, A across a range of subjects and now plans to study Geography at the University of Manchester.
  • Ben Johnson, who has been a Friesland student since Year 7, achieved A*, A*, A in a range of subjects and now plans to join Rolls Royce on an Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • Ruchi Kaur, who joined Friesland School in Year 7, achieved A*, A, A across her subjects and will now asses her exciting options regarding her future education career, she is currently looking at courses in healthcare.
  • Jasmine Smith, Henry Gamble and Ciaran Ross all achieved triple Distinction* as part of our exceptional partnership with Derby County Community Trust College. Ciaran plans to study Sports Rehab at University, Jasmine plans to study Sport and Exercise Science at University and Henry is going on to study a Derby County Apprenticeship Degree.
