Two intrepid teams from Friesland Sixth Form ventured to the depths of Derbyshire on Wednesday to take part in the 1st annual Sixth Form Sports Tournament. Hosted by Swanwick Hall School, the tournament consisted of 3 events – a mixed Netball team, men’s 5-a-side and women’s 5-a-side.
The Friesland teams gave each game their all and were a credit to the school in their attitude, effort and sportsmanship. Unfortunately, on the day they did not manage to lift the trophy, however they have returned to sixth form eager to succeed next time!
