Build your career was a two-day event hosted at the University of Derby’s Kedleston Road site. The event was designed to promote careers, higher educational pathways, and apprenticeships to Y12 and 13 students. Throughout the day there were a range of masterclasses and workshops delivered by experts on digital professionalism, apprenticeships, and a range of academic courses. The event also featured an employer showcase, with leading employers from across the region on hand to discuss work experience and internship opportunities with our students. Students from Friesland attended a variety of different talks, from Policing apprenticeships to what it would be like to study Psychology, Criminology and Sociology at University.
